OUR MISSION
To build a sustainable and successful craft business through community cooperatives which will in
return contribute to positive social transformation.
OUR OBJECTIVES
- Identification, research and design, revival, development, promotion, and marketing of
handloom and handicraft products of rural communities. - Organising exhibitions, participating in fairs, awareness of handloom and handicrafts and
tribal crafts among prospective buyers locally and internationally. - Providing assistance to the artisans/weavers in the field of design development, quality raw
materials and development of new Craft Collaborative Products suiting to the contemporary
market requirement and fashion trends. - Creating employment opportunity/alternative income opportunity and sustainable income to
the rural artisans/weavers, especially women. - Encouraging policy dialogue and implementing the schemes of the Government of
Bangladesh, practice ethical trade including fair trade and fair wages to benefit the artisan and
weaver communities.
